Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
We are in still in Republic of South Africa waiting for the twins’ birth certificates and passports. During this time we’ve been able to visit most of our supporting church in Durban, Cape Town, and Johannesburg with the exception of a few still left to visit and some new churches.
The above verse has been a blessing to us concerning major decisions about our ministry. As you know we had been considering relocating and ministering in the city of Lubumbushi (Southern Congo).
But, since the past month the Lord has burdened us with some of the ministry needs in Kinshasa.
§ With us knowing the language of Lingala (one of the official languages of the Congo), we will be able to step right into these ministries needs in Kinshasa.
§ There are some church planning ministries in Kinshasa that are unattended and we feel lead to bring these ministries to mature indigenous churches, as we did with Sanga Mamba Baptist church.
§ The possibility of a Radio station in Kinshasa with the potential of reaching the city with a population of over 6 million people. We still need to do the foot work on this project. But we do have interested people in the United States, who want to invest financially in setting up a radio station.
Pray with us in our preparation to return to Kinshasa Lord willing the beginning of May 2006.
How you can pray for us:
1. That we will be able to obtain the passports for the Twins soon.
2. Packing and arranging the shipment of supplies to Kinshasa.
3. Safety in our travels here is South Africa.
4. The upcoming elections in the DRC and the peace of the country.
In Christ,
Robert & Esther Marsh (In South Africa)
