Going beyond the “GOD BLESS THE MISSIONARIES”.

Praying for your missionary:

• The Missionary’s Spiritual Life.
  • To maintain personal bible reading and study.
  • To maintain a prayer life.
  • To maintain a good testimony of the gospel.

• The Missionary’s Physical & Emotional Life.
  • Pray for health – in a place were there are many diseases that can hinder the missionary for his work (i.e. malaria, dysentery, hepatitis, typhoid, etc……).
  • Safety in danger (many countries today are politically unstable and experiencing wars, factions, some even hostile to the gospel).
  • Victory over loneliness
  • Victory over depression and self pity.

• The Missionary’s Family Life.
  • Pray the Lord protection from the wile of the devil.
  • That they will be able to maintain regular family devotions.
  • Family unity.
  • Children – schooling, safety.
  • Uphold good relationships with other missionaries, national believers.

• The Missionary’s Ministry.
  • Pray that the Lord will give the missionary the ability to communicate effectively in his:
    • Teaching – Preaching – witnessing – disciplining.
  • That the WORD of the LORD will have free course.
  • That the Lord will prepare the hearts of men and women to receive the WORD.

• The Missionary’s Field of Service.
  • That countries government.
  • Political and social situations of that country.
