We
believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Old and New
Testaments, the inerrancy of Scripture and that the Bible is our only
rule of faith and practice; that the Bible is the complete and sole
revelation of God to man, that all modern pretense of revelation through
tongues, prophecy, dreams, knowledge, visions, special people, angels or
churches is unscriptural; We believe in the Trinity; the virgin birth,
bodily resurrection and bodily ascension of Christ; the universal,
sinful nature of man; salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ;
the two ordinances of believers baptism by immersion and the Lord's
Supper; the eternal security, priesthood and soul liberty of the
believer; ethical and ecclesiastical separation and the separation of
church and state; the literal interpretation of Scripture resulting in a
pre-tribulation, pre-millennial and dispensational eschatology; the
reality of heaven and hell and of separate judgments for the saved and
lost; the local church as God's autonomous institution to carry out the
Great Commission; the obligation of every believer to live a holy life
and to witness to the lost of the saving power of Christ.
